Mani Slater So delighted with my Ardent FX, it was worth every (hard earned) dollar. It decarbs perfectly, no stress no mess. I've used both settings and the results are spot on. The infusion setting is so easy, set and forget. Also baked with it - too easy :)). I was curious about power usage as we're off grid, and tech support chased up all the info I needed. Love this unit so much, it looks so innocent on the bench and although a little smell escapes it's negligible compared to decarbing on the stove or in the oven. Easy to clean after infusing or baking, just pull out the silicon sleeve and voila. I would recommend handwashing the silicon pull out sleeve and the bit on the lid in hot soapy water and letting it air itself out for a couple of hours before first using to get rid of the plasticky smell, then it's good to go.
